The US Army has awarded Raytheon Co. (McKinney, Texas) a US $8,589,028 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Extended Range/Multi-Purpose Electro/Optic/Infrared/Laser Designator Programme. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas and is expected to be completed by 12 May 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the internet on 1 February 2005 and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15P7T-05-C-S604).
