The Bristol International UAV conference (Bristol, UK), due to be held from 29-31 March 2004, will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. Its 2004 Keynote Speaker is the new Executive Director of the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Lester McFawn who will be joined on the first day by a number of government speakers from the UK and USA to provide overviews of programme plans and recent operational experience. Subsequent technical sessions will cover aspects of current and future systems, avionics, control and communications, micro air vehicles, air vehicle design and will maintain the momentum generated in previous years to understand safety, airspace integration and potential civilian uses. Presenters are expected from UK, USA, Germany, Australia, Canada, China, Belgium and Greece to give an international perspective of the topic. The conference also features a small but enthusiastically supported exhibition by leading industrial companies in the area of UAV systems.
